Stuff I Will Need

I'm in the process of gathering essential items I will need for our 28 day trip. This Christmas I got an awesome rain jacket from my sister and brother-in-law, so I seem to be on my way.

After having researching backpacks for several hours yesterday, I still feel as though there are far to many options and styles. I hear that the backpacks with a stiff back (pushed slightly off your back) are good, because it allows air to flow inbetween your back and bag (good for the summer). Are there any brands you suggest for this type of travel (only having a backpack for 28 days)? Or does anyone have a bag I can borrow or rent?

Holiday Cheers

So last night Emma and I got together and nailed a shower curtain map of the world into her wall. Yes... maybe not the most ideal place to hang a shower curtain, but I'm hoping it will help her sense of direction big time for when we are in Europe and need to know where we are headed.

Ready For a New Journey

Hey-

Well I’m starting up this blog to explore and share all the obstacles, excitement, and challenges I am sure to experience as I prepare for my backpacking adventures through Europe this coming summer. A close friend, Emma, and I will be starting off in England, and traveling through France and Italy stopping off in Paris, Mont Blanc, and Venice.
